• WHO AM I, WHAT I DO •
aboutRita Juárez (b. 1984, León, España)
I have been working in the creative industries for well over two decades now, mostly in the fields of contemporary art, high-end fashion, and brand design.
After spending a good bunch of years between Madrid and London, I am now based in New York City, where I share my time between design consulting, curation, and metaphysic studies.
My practice is an amalgamation (as in moira-teaching-david-how-to-fold-in-cheese sort of thing) of raw aesthetics, science and critical thinking. The results are inquisitive, imperfect, playful, brutalist, bold iterations of an idea.
Additionally, I also mentor creatives of all levels and fields, and I founded rapaz, a restaurant honoring my northern-spanish heritage.
Work developed through the years has been featured in press mediums such as Vogue, New York Times, The Modern House, Bloomberg, Highsnobiety, and Hypebeast.
